In Casa Sol, Eddie has combined his 40 years of experience as an executive in the local and international hotel industry and his love for this predilect capital city space. His dream of having his first turistical business comes true with the birth of this first Bed & Breakfast in Old San Juan. It was Margarita who took on the job of designing a unique ambiance in each room of Casa Sol.
As an expert in interior design, Margarita has known how to blend with exquisite taste the colonial history and contemporary style for the liking of each guest of Casa Sol. The Ramírez-Pastor matrimony offers the visitor the best touristic and gastronomical references without having to leave the forted city.
Eddie and Margarita will also suggest where to find the best coffee, have a great “piragua”, how to coordinate an eco-touristic experience, or even a salsa class. Also, every morning they will serve you a fresh and nutritious Homemade breakfast, different every day. You will be served a fruit bowl all with locally picked fresh seasonal produce, right at your table. You have a special diet no problem they do Gluten Free, Vegan, vegetarian.

What hotel gives you all that, plus the personal attention of Tisha and Eddie who are there to ensure your visit is everything you dreamed about?Just a week before our opening in 2013 we found this stray Terrier a six-month puppy and fell in love with her. She was abandoned and was left on the front steps to a neighbor’s house. She then became the furrier member of your family “OREO” as our daughter named her. Very calm in character, she has a deep look and a thank full expression in her face. She likes the water and loves to go to the beach with us.

Everything from our furniture, art work, light fixtures, decorating accessories, breads, jams, fruits, vegetables, spices and condiments, coffee, chocolate, milk, flowers, eggs, bakeries, cheese, crackers, breakfast meats etc.… is sourced local present in Casa Sol.
Our mission is to provide our visitors with a unique visit one they will never forget, creating memories and experiences to last a lifetime. When preparing our home cooked Breakfast, we will showcase as many local product as we can, guest will be able to sample things they may have never tasted before.
Our support goes even further; we believe that the more we can teach others and support neighboring business the more one grows. In the local hospitality industry, we have become mentors for many new B & B’s
