Great location and the best hosts!

We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. We were warmly greeted by Tisha upon check-in. Very personable and friendly. Tisha showed us around the place and the basic amenities it offers (water and ice dispenser, an open patio to relax, and a cozy area to read or relax. Additionally, she shared a list of recommended places to eat.

The room was perfectly decorated, high ceilings, an AC that kept us nice and cool, plenty of towels, and a nice comfortable bed/pillows.

Location was very close to one of the forts, but in general all points of interest within walking distance. Eddie, her husband is just as friendly and personable and a great cook. Our breakfasts became the highlight of our stay.

We cannot recommend Casa Del Sol enough and want to return soon.

Mother Daughter Trip

My daughter and I stayed here four nights last week, 8/13-8/17. It was amazing. The hosts are friendly and accommodating and have created a beautiful home away from home. The breakfast was delicious each morning and I even found a new way to make my coffee! The room is very clean and comfortable with great A/C and the bathroom was big enough for two. Quiet hours start at 10 pm so noise was not an issue. The location is perfect. We walked to historic sites, great restaurants and bars, views of the ocean, lots of shopping and even a cat park. We got a resort pass one day and both agreed we were glad we chose Casa Sol instead of a busy and impersonal hotel. Plus, it’s less expensive and a great value. I will definitely be returning here as there is still so much to experience and explore in this vibrant, friendly area.

A genuine, Old San Juan bed & breakfast that makes you feel like a local

I’ve had the pleasure of staying at Casa Sol Bed & Breakfast twice over the past year, and I’m always looking forward to my next time back. Staying here makes you feel like you live in Old San Juan – it’s conveniently located near everything yet is tucked away from all of the popular spots that get busy at night, so it’s super peaceful.

The owners, Eddie & Tisha, are incredible people who make you feel right at home. The breakfasts they make for you every morning have to be my favorite part of the day. I can’t wait for my next stay at Casa Sol, I can’t recommend it enough!

The property itself is beautiful.

It was conveniently located in Old San Juan, but parking is about 10 minutes away. The breakfast was wonderful and served in a beautiful inner atrium. The hosts provided a great list of recommendations for restaurants, shops and things to do in the area. The property was a bit noisy, as people were loudly talking in the atrium during quiet hours and our room was also near the street. The ceiling fan/overhead light evidently had a universal remote in all rooms. Our light and fan randomly came on in the middle of the night, more than once!

Best B&B I’ve Ever Experienced!

Eddie and Tisha were honestly the best hosts. This was my first time in PR, and I went with my mom and brother. Our room was immaculate, and the B&B building is stunning and has its own history. The breakfast every morning was some of the best I’ve ever had. It was fresh and local every morning, and being able to eat underneath the beautiful sun was so memorable. Eddie and Tisha gave amazing background on PR and had awesome suggestions throughout the whole trip.

Additionally, the location is unmatched. You’re in walking distance to everything, but noise is never an issue at night. I cannot recommend Casa Sol enough — one of the best experiences I’ve ever had, and can’t wait to come back.

Definitely recommend Casa Sol without reservations. And consider it worth every penny. It’s all a B&B should be: lovely and welcoming hosts, an historic building with old world charm, a fantastic breakfast, insanely convenient to the best sights in Old San Juan.

Haven of Peace in Old San Juan

Casa Sol is a family-run business, and there are only a few rooms with a central courtyard, so you get to know your fellow guests, which is lovely. Everything is calm, clean, comfortable, and respectful. Breakfast each day (included) is beyond delicious. The rooms are air-conditioned and the beds are comfortable, and the location is perfect, walking distance to everything. We will return!

Casa Sol the Gem of old San Juan!

Wonderful B & B in old San Juan. Went for a family reunion and stayed here before and after the event. Great location. Easy to find. Parking garage near. Walking to cafes, shops, historical places all easy to find.Bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Had own bathroom, closet space, a keyed safe for valuables. Very safe with electronic outside door locks. Breakfast in the inner courtyard each morning from 8:30-9:30 AM. Fresh fruit, pastry, coffee, juice, entree. Enjoyed talking to the family each morning as well. Will definitely visit again.

Prepare to feel pampered!

Everything from the bed to the breakfast to the location to the bathroom were exactly as one might hope. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was well-appointed all the way to the LOVELY body wash in the shower and high quality mosquito repellant. The room had an effective A/C unit and we were delighted by the ABSENCE of a television. The hosts were gracious, helping with every question, and we took full advantage of the sparkling water button on the water filter. Whereas few AirBnB rentals include breakfast, this traditional Bed and Breakfast continues to offer a full and DELICIOUS breakfast. Each morning was a tour de force of culinary art. The location in Old San Juan is in a quiet area with easy access to the entire old town. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
